To Have and to Hold… Or Not: Tips for Bridal Portrait Bouquets

Bridal portraits are typically taken anywhere from one to three months before the wedding. This a great opportunity to have your hair trials done and see your entire look pulled together! But when it comes to the bouquet for bridal portraits, there seems to be a lot of questions.

Do I need a bouquet for my Bridals?

Not necessarily! You can take beautiful bridal portraits without having a bouquet in your hands.14203228_1356642974350315_8013284159099510062_n.jpg

Can I make a bouquet myself?

You can…but it will probably look awkward next to your real bridal bouquet, especially if you’re planning on showcasing some of your bridals at your wedding.

How much does a portrait bouquet cost?

If you want an exact replica for the real bridal bouquet it can be anywhere from $150-$400. You need to be sure that you have budgeted it out in your flower budget and that your florist knows ahead of time. You can’t let them know two days before your portraits are being taken or they won’t have time to order the flowers.14141728_1356642841016995_7455331582000531969_n.jpg
